- While in this role, I head the management of the Bancassurance business distribution channel so as to ensure the objectives are met by maintaining production revenue budget. My duties included; identifying new markets, proper management of business reports, training Bank staff, and conducting marketing campaigns. • Identified and created partnerships with banks in order to sell insurance products by designing strategies, leveraging the existing clientele, and expanding the wallet share through client visits hence deepening the relationships and driving revenue growth. • On-boarded seven banks and signed the service level agreement with them. Increased number of Bancassurance partners and as well as increased business inflow. • Identified and leveraged potential business opportunities and marketing initiatives at the bank branches and sought for support to actualize prospects into revenues. As a result, managed to quadruple the business book allocated and exceed business targets consistently. • Explored opportunities to develop new markets/segments in line with company sales strategy from time to time hence on-boarding of new banks. • Actively participated in business development meetings and offered valuable ideas that contributed towards Bancassurance business growth in Britam.
