• Innovation Hackathon competition was organized by AMDISS in partnership with IREX to identify innovative media programs that would be used to improve access to life-saving information among the communities especially now that South Sudan is destined to conduct its first election in a year or so. Blue Messenger Bicycles’ Initiative a tool that I developed came out the 1st winner of the Innovation Hackathon 2023. Key Responsibilities • Modify Blue Messenger Bicycles to meet the needs at the grassroots • Strengthen civic engagement activities among the communities • Debunk rumors • Collect community complaints and feedbacks and respond to them within 0-72 hours through the relevant clusters or institutions Achievement: • Modified Blue Messenger Bicycle into a better tool for massive dissemination of the life-saving messages.
