• At Health Link South Sudan, as a Long Lasting Insecticide Net Distribution County Coordinator, I worked both in Eastern Equatoria State, Unity and Lake State closely with the SMoH and the CHD (Torit, Magwi, Ikwoto, Budi and Lopa/Lafon) teams in; Planning of the activities, providing supportive supervision for the volunteers, participated actively in trainings being conducted for the volunteers. I was also responsible for coordination, inventory and fleet management and reporting at the county levels.

• At Health Link South Sudan, as the Boma Health Initiative officer, I worked closely with the team in providing supportive staff supervision, participated actively in trainings being conducted for both Health Link staff and Boma Health Workers (BHWs) and their supervisors and this was conducted in Magwi County, Ikotos County, and Lopa/Lafon County together with the CHD teams. I also did monthly report reviews and compilation, drug distribution to BHWs, participated in monthly meetings with BHWs, supervisors and community elders in their various communities as well as the PHCCs and PHCUs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of BHWs in the implementation of the phase one and phase two activities of Boma Health Initiative (BHI) which include; maternal and child health (Family Planning, GBV, Nutrition Screening and referral, maternal and child danger signs as well as immunisation). I was also actively involved in plotting and taking coordinates of BHWs and their supervisors’ areas with my supervisor.

• While here, I provided technical leadership in the implementation of projects activities especially on Gender and Social Inclusion, GBV, HIV awareness on prevention, care and support of the positive and Sexual Reproductive Health and leadership training skills for women leaders in the women cycles; a project funded by UNICEF. I was also responsible for data management and coordination of maternal child care, counselling and provision HIV treatment as per the national guidelines. I was also directly involved in Gender Based Violence projects through training of trainers, capacity assessment and development of tailored capacity support plans, provision of psychosocial support to GBV survivors and engagement of local authorities.
